Fire Suppression Systems
Unlike fire sprinkler systems, automatic fire suppression systems are designed to stop the fires. They are usually installed in high hazard areas in commercial and industrial buildings. Such systems include commercial kitchens fire suppression systems, open and close spray booth fire systems and localized specialty systems such as to protect large machinery, computer or engine rooms. These systems come with different firefighting agents depending on the types of hazards. The agent can be liquid, dry powder or clean agent such as FM-200 or others. These systems can be activated manually or automatically and they are capable of shutting off the sources of power and fuel to improve the likelihood of stopping the fires at the initial ignition points. The State Fire Marshal requires that the individual or organizations that service these systems to be trained and certified by the manufacturers. Our company is specialized in designing, installing and servicing most of the fire suppression systems for restaurants and industrial spray booths. We provide semi-annual inspection, preventive maintenance and emergency repairs. In addition, we design and install kitchen fire suppression system systems that meet the requirements of the UL-300 and NFPA17A Standards.

Example of a neglected hood. This broken fusible link would cause the system to not fire properly. A prime example of why regular maintenance is extremely important. This above example was left by a not so reputable company during maintainance leaving this customer unprotected. It is very important your service provider fully inspects your system for proper functionality. |
